Att ha ett jobb inom kommunikation och information innebär ett yrke med varierade arbetsuppgifter där det hela tiden kan tillkomma nya saker. Det går att läsa utbildningar inom området för att få lite mer konkurrenskraft inom området. Den som vet att man vill jobba inom ett specifikt område exempelvis mot media och vara pressansvarig på ett företag kan vinna mycket på att utbilda sig. Skulle man sedan vilja skola om sig eller på något sätt byta inriktning på sitt arbete går det att göra. Kommunikatör är ett yrke där det finns mycket att välja på.
Att veta vad man vill jobba med när man blir stor är inte alltid lätt. Det finns olika tester att göra för att se vilket håll man drar sig åt. Vissa vill inte alls arbeta med människor utan med maskiner, andra är som gjorda för att dagligen bli utmanad i sin kontakt med människor. Som kommunikatör kommer du möta många utmaningar.
Kommunikatör är ett brett begrepp
Kommunikatör passar den person som vill komma till jobbet och ha en del planerat, men så händer det helt oförutsedda saker och dagen går åt till annat. Man kan inte veta vad som kommer hända då det löpande händer saker som påverkar företaget på ett eller annat sätt. Kanske kunder då börjar ringa och undra vad som händer och hur det kommer påverka dom i sin tur. En kommunikatör måste alltid vara på tårna och beredd på nya saker.
I dagens samhälle är vi mycket digitala och många av företagen finns också på sociala medier. En kommunikatör kan vara ansvarig för dessa och vilken information som delges här. Man kan få svara på frågor som kommer in och följa med i diskussioner och lära sig mer exempelvis om vad kunder tycker om.
Det finns mycket på att vinna genom att man gör rätt val redan i gymnasiet, då kan man få jobb direkt efter om man har lite tur. Om man vet redan i högstadiet att detta är intressant, så kan man välja ett program med mer media inriktning och på så vis få ett försprång. När det är dags för praktik är en bra idé att försöka komma in på ett företag eller myndighet där man kan tänka sig att arbeta. Det kan leda till ett sommarjobb som i sin tur kan leda till jobb som kommunikatör.
